This role is ideal for individuals with commercial experience in immunoassay design, optimization and validation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine high-sensitivity rapid immunoassays using advanced methodologies.
- Collaborate effectively with team members on new assay projects, from conception to validation.
- Conduct and oversee thorough statistical data analyses.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation, including data summaries, reports, and protocols.
- Present complex technical data to diverse, cross-functional audiences.
- Engage in relevant scientific literature reviews and advocate innovative improvements to existing assays/products.
- Foster a professional, collaborative, and communicative workplace culture.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years commercial experience, PhD or MSc in Microbiology, Immunology, Virology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Expertise in immunoassay development (e.g., ELISA, lateral flow assays) and bio-analytical techniques.
- Practical experience in conjugation techniques.
- Proven problem-solving skills, particularly in diagnostics and point-of-care testing.
- Exceptional data management, laboratory organization, and documentation skills, including experimental design, report writing, and protocol (SOP) development.
- Outstanding communication abilities, both verbal and written, with proficiency in presentation and computer skills. Familiarity with MATLAB and/or Python is advantageous.
